Athletics
Our athletics program gives students the opportunity to compete, grow in skill, and represent Family of Christ with excellence. Open to students in grades 4–8, our program includes Basketball, Flag Football, Soccer, and Volleyball, with opportunities for students to develop as athletes, teammates, and young leaders.
We want athletics to be about more than competition alone. Our program is built to help students grow in teamwork, discipline, perseverance, and Christian sportsmanship.
Our athletics program includes both Junior Varsity and Varsity teams, giving student-athletes room to develop, compete, and represent the school with pride.
We are a proud member of the Tampa Bay Christian Athletic League, joining 23 schools across the area in healthy competition, teamwork, and Christian sportsmanship.

Athletic Honor
Knights of the Round is a unique honor given through our athletic program to recognize 8th grade student-athletes who show excellence in sports, academics, and spiritual leadership. The award began in 2020 and is inspired by the character ideals of King Arthur’s Knights of the Round Table. It honors students who demonstrate strong character on the field, off the field, and in the classroom.
This recognition reflects the kind of athletics culture we want to build — one where students are encouraged not only to compete well, but also to live with honor, respect, service, fairness, and Christ-centered character.
We want athletics to strengthen more than physical skills. Through practice, competition, teamwork, and leadership, students learn perseverance, responsibility, and how to represent their school and their faith with integrity. Our league participation and team structure give students meaningful opportunities to grow in both ability and character.
Students learn how to compete together, support one another, and contribute to something bigger than themselves.
Athletics helps students grow in consistency, practice habits, and resilience.
Representing Family of Christ gives students a stronger sense of belonging and connection to the school community.
We want student-athletes to compete in a way that reflects integrity, respect, and Christian sportsmanship.
The best way to get a feel for our athletics program is to visit campus, learn more about our teams, and see how competition, community, and character come together at Family of Christ.
