About K-8 School
Our K-8 program is built to help students grow into confident learners, compassionate people, and young men and women grounded in biblical truth. We combine strong academics, Christ-centered teaching, and a caring school community so students are prepared for what comes next while being known and supported in the present. We began in 1999 as a mission in New Tampa, starting with Preschool and Kindergarten and growing one grade level at a time into the K-8 school we are today.
We are a private Christian school serving Kindergarten through 8th grade in New Tampa. Our mission is simple: Love Jesus. Love Learning. Love Others. That mission shapes the way we teach, lead, and care for students every day.
Faith is not an add-on to the school day. It is part of the way we teach, encourage, and help students understand who they are in Christ.
We place a strong emphasis on academic skills while helping students grow in discipline, curiosity, and confidence as learners.
We want students to grow spiritually, mentally, socially, emotionally, and physically during their years with us.
We want families to see a school that is both caring and credible. Our K-8 program is designed to provide a strong educational foundation while helping students mature in faith, responsibility, and character.
Students grow through weekly chapel, scripture, religion instruction, and daily reminders that faith shapes the whole of life.
From elementary foundations to middle school rigor, our program is built to help students grow steadily in reading, writing, math, science, and social studies.
We are fully accredited, and all homeroom classroom teachers hold and maintain a Professional Educator’s Certificate.
Students are part of a school where relationships matter, traditions are meaningful, and families are invited into a real partnership.
In Kindergarten through 5th grade, students build strong foundations in reading, writing, math, science, social studies, and faith. Weekly chapel, scripture memorization, Spanish, art, music, PE, and computer are all part of the elementary experience.
In grades 6-8, students move into greater academic challenge and independence while continuing to grow in Christ-centered learning. Middle school includes stronger writing, algebra progression, science labs, civics and history, electives, and leadership opportunities.
Across K-8, we want students to leave ready for high school with stronger habits, stronger character, and a stronger sense of who they are and how they are called to live. Annual Stanford Achievement testing is one part of how we track academic growth across the school.
We want students to experience more than academic instruction alone. School life includes opportunities to build friendships, develop leadership, participate in service, and enjoy traditions that make these years memorable.
Middle school students can participate in opportunities such as Student Council and NJHS, helping them grow in responsibility and service.
Students have opportunities to explore areas such as robotics, coding, woodshop, art, ASL, piano, guitar, chapel production, and horticulture.
Students can grow through athletics, school events, chapel life, and traditions that build community and school spirit. Athletics currently include basketball, flag football, soccer, and volleyball.
Service projects, chapel, and school-wide experiences help students connect faith with the way they live and serve others.
We are fully accredited by the National Lutheran Schools Association and by the district of the Lutheran Church—Missouri Synod.
All homeroom classroom teachers hold and maintain a Professional Educator’s Certificate.
We comply with and exceed the Florida Sunshine State Standards as well as the Hillsborough County Benchmarks for each grade level.
We go through an evaluation process every five years as part of our accreditation and accountability.
The best way to understand our school is to visit, meet our team, and see how faith, academics, and community come together across Kindergarten through 8th grade.
