Extra-Curricular Activities
Students have the opportunity to participate in a variety of activities at Family of Christ. Additional fees may be required for participation. Extra-curricular activities are sponsored by Family of Christ’s Christian School before or after normal school hours. Activities and programs include: Student Council, Safety Patrol, Chess Club, Art Club, Drama Clubs, Musical Ensembles, the National Junior Honor Society, and Student Council.

Family of Christ has organized athletic programs and offers students an opportunity to participate in one or more of the following sports. A current yearly physical (yellow form provided by physician) is required to participate in sports.

After Care:
Family of Christ Christian School views children as a precious resource given by God, and acknowledges its responsibility, along with parents, for their care and nurture. Therefore, Family of Christ carries out its mission by establishing and maintaining a program of After Care to provide a safe, secure, caring and Christian setting for our children. This program is for children whose parents, due to work-related responsibilities, find it difficult to provide care for their child(ren) before and/or after the regular school day.
Activities:
All activities will be supervised and age-appropriate. A snack will be provided for all participants. Recreational time and homework/study time will be provided.
Dates of Operation:
Every school day (Monday-Friday) from 7 to 8:15 a.m. and from 3:00 to 6:15 p.m. When school is not in session, hours will be 7 a.m. to 6:15 p.m.
**Except for the following holidays when CDC will be closed: Labor Day, Christmas, Good Friday, Thanksgiving Day, New Years Day, and Memorial Day.
Fees:
All charges for After School Care will be made through Family of Christ’s Finance Office. Any delinquent fees will be handled by the Finance Office.
